50th Annual Graduation Ceremonies

Ceremonies will be held at the Shaw Conference Center at 9:45 a.m. There is no cost/no tickets required and you may bring as many guests as you would like. Please arrive no later than 8:45 a.m.
To be eligible to participate, a student must be on track to earn 100 credits in courses required for a high school diploma from the Department of Alberta Education by the end of June 2013.
The next list of students eligible to graduate will be posted in March on the Grad Bulletin Board (between Student Services office and the cafeteria) and is updated regularly.
Students are required to pay a Commencement Fee of $95.00. This fee will cover the cost of the Shaw Conference Center, gown rental, cap, certificate in a leatherette folder, pin and a grad picture taken by a professional photographer after students cross the stage during the ceremonies.
The $95.00 Commencement Fee was included on the invoice for school fees mailed September 14th and October 15th, 2012. Late registrants will be invoiced for this fee at the time of registration.
Gowns will be distributed from the school three or four days prior to the commencement.
All gowns MUST be returned at the conclusion of the ceremonies to a specified area of the conference center. The cap and the tassel are souvenirs for the student to keep.

The banquet and dance will be held at the Shaw Convention Center commencing at 5:00 p.m. The dance will be held following the banquet. The order of events include: toasts and speeches, dinner, historians and slide show, grand march and then the dance.
Ticket sale dates will be held in the Paul Kane Cafeteria on April 30th, May 1st, and 2nd. Students will be randomly numbered (mid April) and sales will take place as follows:

Students may purchase as many tickets as their family requires, but on the first day of sales, they will be limited to ten tickets. The cost is $70.00 per ticket.
Tickets can only be purchased after all school fees have been paid, and all outstanding textbooks/library books have either been returned or paid.
